Wheat is the raw material of FLOUR MILL FACTORY. During flour milling process, technical parameters and operation methods of the wheat flour milling machine depend on the quality of the wheat. Meanwhile, it also affects quality of flour and yield. Hence, the wheat in the flour mill factory should be tested in the respect of origin, species, types, moisture, impurity, color, smell.
Then how to test the color, smell, taste of the wheat in the flour mill factory?
Quality wheat has its natural color, smell and taste. If the color changes or the it smells strange, it is possible that the wheat has gone bad or been polluted.
Color Test
Put the wheat under scatter beam and observe the color by eyes.
Compare the wheat with standard sample.
Smell Test
Take some samples and blow , smell if the wheat goes bad.
Put the sample in the enclosed vessel and keep it for several minutes in the 60-70℃ water, then open the lid and smell.
Taste Test
Cook the wheat and taste.
The normal wheat for the flour mill factory owns the intrinsic color, smell and taste. The test result should be marked as normal or abnormal. The abnormal should be noted in addition.
